Silverwood Theme Park opens for the season, Stunt Pilot ride debuts May 29th
ATHOL, Idaho — Silverwood Theme Park is officially open for the season.
This month, there’s a lot to look forward to — Mothers’ Day Weekend, Kids Weekend, Healthcare Appreciation Weekend and American Heroes’ Weekend, which will be commemorated with free and reduced admission prices.
But most will be anticipating the opening of the newest ride, the Stunt Pilot.
To celebrate the grand opening on May 29th, Silverwood is working with the Children’s Village to conduct an auction for the first 10 seats on Stunt Pilot.
All proceeds will go to the Children’s Village, a licensed residential home for children in Coeur d’Alene who have been abused, neglected or in sever family crisis.
Silverwood is also currently be hiring for the summer season.
To attract more applicants, the park has raised the starting wage for Ride Operators and Lifeguards, 16 and older, to $15 per hour and Beverage Stewards, 19 and older, to $16 per hour.
