Silver Mountain to close Wednesday, giving employees chance to recover
SHOSHONE CO., Idaho — Silver Mountain will be temporarily closing its ski area on Wednesday.
The ski resort made the announcement on Facebook, saying they want to give their employees a chance to recuperate after last week’s avalanche.
“They worked tirelessly through the challenges of last week,” the post said, “We value all of our employee’s health and wellness, and want to give them a much needed break.”
Silver Mountain also mentioned that 49 Degrees North will hold a special operating day on January 15, where they will honor all Silver Mountain season passes.
