Shining Star Senior Night: WV boys track and Madee Owens are honored

SPOKANE, Wash. — Another day without sports and another day for our Senior student-athletes to not have the opportunity to compete one last time before heading on from High School.  We continue to honor our local student-athletes by giving them their own Senior Night moment as part of our Shining Star program.

West Valley Boys Track honors 9 Seniors

The West Valley Eagles boys track team has won five of the last six Great Northern League championships and coach Vic Wallace says these nine Seniors are a big reason for the success of the Eagles.

Kobin Carter, Alyjouah Rollins, Dan Miller, Kolby Green, Gage Taylor, Brendan Haight, Dylan Rendahl, Braydon Oneal, and Jace Peterson.

Madee Owens, Ephrata, Tennis

Madee was involved in a ton of activities at Ephrata high school including varsity tennis in the Spring.  She’s also an all-state volleyball player, and a basketball cheerleader.  Madee is heavily involved in 4-H, she’s in the school’s elite choir, and the student body treasurer.  She’s also in the National Honors Society and will graduate in the top-10 in her class of around 200 students.

Congrats to everyone in the class of 2020 on finishing up great high school careers.
