Sharon Lee Buckenberger
Sharon went to be with the lord on Thursday, January 18 2018 in Spokane WA. She was born on September 6th 1949 in Spokane WA to Jack and Beverly Hettinger. She worked for Spokane Public Schools for 25 years and retired in 2014. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an avid fan and season ticket holder of Gonzaga Women’s Basketball. She enjoyed traveling and spending time at the Oregon Coast. Sharon was deeply committed to her family. She took pride in following all of their activities and celebrating their accomplishments.
She is survived by her mother Beverly, her husband Buck of 45 years, her sister Marla, and her three children Staci Buckenberger (Angie), Kami Buckenberger and Tami Mangis. Sharon had six grandchildren: Shaynea, Skyla, Shane, Javier, William, Damien, one great-grandchild, Peyton, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Jack Hettinger.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 3p.m. at Shadle Park High School Auditorium. (4327 N. Ash).
