Sex Offender Wanted On Abuse Charges Arrested In Liberty Lake
The Spokane County Sheriff?s Office located and arrested Glenn Sapp, a sex offender wanted on sex abuse charges, Saturday afternoon in Liberty Lake.
Officers found Sapp at a North Molter Road address and took him into custody without incident.
Sapp is accused of sexually abusing and photographing a four-year-old girl.
He is facing charges of child molestation, child rape, sexual exploitation of a minor and possession of child pornography.
The charges stem from a tip received by a man who purchased a computer from Sapp and found images and videos on it allegedly showing Sapp abusing a child. Subsequently Sapp?s three children – a 7-year-old boy, 3-year-old girl and 16-month-old boy – were taken from his home. By the time the arrest warrants were issued against him Sapp disappeared.
Police say Sapp could have up to four victims of sexual abuse; investigators have not said if any of the victims are his own children.
Sapp was previously convicted in 1999 in Chelan County for two counts of possession of child pornography. The victims in that case were two minor neighbors Sapp took pictures of with a Polaroid camera.
