Several Coeur d’Alene schools bring back mask mandate due to COVID outbreaks
COEUR d’ALENE, Idaho — The Coeur d’Alene School District announced eighth graders at Woodland Middle School and students at Lake City High School are back under a two-week mask mandate after COVID outbreaks.
Coeur d’Alene Schools lifted the mask mandate on April 19.
Due to two recent outbreaks, Woodland Middle School and Lake City High now join Canfield Middle School in two-week mask mandates.
School officials says ninth- and tenth-graders have to go back to wearing masks due to a cluster of seven COVID cases, caused by in-school transmission.
