Second suspect pleads guilty to role in murder of Bo Kirk
KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — A second suspect has pleaded guilty to his role in the murder of Bo Kirk.
Justin Booth, a convicted felon out on parole, made a deal Monday, one day before his trial for robbery and murder was about to begin.
Booth, and another man, David Hutto, were accused of kidnapping William “Bo” Kirk in October 2016 in Post Falls.
Kirk was returning home from his job when the two men followed him home, kidnapped him at gunpoint, shot him to death, and then took his truck and ATM card.
Booth agreed to plead guilty to murder and robbery. He now faces a life sentence.
Hutto was convicted last year.
