General Manager John Schneider and head coach Pete Carroll had a little more surprise in store in the second round. After trading with the New York Jets to move up, they trade down with help from the Carolina Panthers.

They gave up the final pick of the second round at No. 64, but received No. 69 (third round) and No. 148 (fourth round).

With their third-round pick, they take a big offensive lineman from Louisiana State, Damien Lewis, a member of the defending national championship team.

Lewis is listed at 6-2, 329 pounds.
