Seahawks take Offensive Tackle Charles Cross with the 9th pick in the first round of the NFL Draft
LAS VEGAS — The Seattle Seahawks haven’t picked in the top-10 in a long time, and they used that pick to take Offensive Lineman Charles Cross from Mississippi State Tonight.
Cross is a well-balanced tackle who has been good in the run and the pass in his career that included a couple years under pass-happy coach Mike Leach.
Seattle still has seven picks remaining in this year’s draft including two in the second round and one in the third. It’s the first time the Seahawks will have four picks in the first 75 for the first time in the era of Pete Carroll and John Schneider.
