Seahawks take former WSU lineman Abe Lucas with 72nd pick in the third round of the NFL Draft
LAS VEGAS — The Seattle Seahawks selected former Washington State Cougar Abe Lucas with the 72nd pick in the third round of the NFL Draft
Lucas will pair with first round pick Charles Cross at the two tackle positions for the future, they could anchor the o-line for a number of years.
The Seahawks have gone against their normal philosophy of trading picks to accumulate more picks this year, they’ve taken all four players so are in the slot they were originally scheduled to pick.
Seattle doesn’t have any more picks in the third round tonight, so their draft is over for the day unless they trade back into the third round.
Rounds four through seven will take place Saturday in Las Vegas.
