SEATTLE, Wash. – It’s tempting to fall for clues on the most exciting day in sports we’ve seen in two months. The virtual NFL draft starts Thursday night at 5 p.m. and Seattle has a No. 27 pick in the first round.

But if you’ve paid attention to the past drafts that coach Pete Carroll and General Manager John Schneider have teamed up for, you know there’s a good chance they trade high picks for more picks.

On Thursday morning, Carroll posted the first of six tweets, apparently hinting at who the Hawks may pick with that No. 27 slot.

Hours later came clue #2.

With just under two hours before the draft, Carroll posted the third.
