SANDPOINT, Idaho — Schweitzer Mountain Resort has extended its season pass sale through the end of July.

Skiers and snowboarders looking to buy a winter pass for the 2020-21 season have until July 31 to get theirs at a discounted rate.

Schweitzer also wants to honor those who had 2019-2020 season passes, as the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Those previous season pass holders can get an additional $50 off the purchase of their upcoming season pass and will also get a pre-loaded free buddy ticket valid any day of the next season. The offer is available to those who buy their new passes before the early pricing deadline.

Schweitzer has also decided to discontinue its Powder Alliance partnership for the 2020-21 season due to an overwhelming number of visitors. Officials at the mountain are now working on reciprocal deals for passholders, including free days at other resorts like Whitewater, Bridger Bowl and Castle. There will be additional deals at Whitefish, Powder Mountain and Grand Targhee.

More information on season passes can be found here.
