Ron “Custer” Coe
Ron “Custer” Coe passed away January 19th, at the age of 57. He was born to Slim & Beverly Coe, in American Fork, Utah on May 23, 1960. At 17 years old, he joined the Navy and traveled the world for four years. After his honorable discharge, he got married and had 3 children. He remarried his love, Helen, in 2001, and gained 2 step children. Over the years, he and Helen moved across the United States several times. In 2013, they finally settled in Spokane, Washington to be closer to their children and grandchildren. He was thankful for the 17 years of love and support he received from her, and finally getting the small town country life they always dreamed of together. He enjoyed reading, movies, a good argument and spending time with his family. For a man with tattoos that stood 6’4, he had the softest, most loving heart. He is definitely looking down on us hoping for the absolute best for us all.
He survived by his beloved wife Helen, daughters Tamara and Sarah, son Ron, step children Carrie and James, and 8 grandchildren.
If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Rockford, Washington, on Friday, February 16th at 3pm, followed by a reception at his home.
Arrangements entrusted to Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe St. in Spokane.
