Riverfront Eats canceled this Tuesday due to heat concerns

SPOKANE,  Wash. — If you were planning on having lunch at Riverfront Eats on Tuesday, you will need to change your plans accordingly.

Riverfront Eats will be canceled on Tuesday, August 9, due to high temperatures we are expected to see in the forecast. The decision was made to keep customers and food truck workers safe amid the heat.

A summer staple in downtown Spokane, Riverfront Eats brings food trucks to Riverfront Park every Tuesday from June to August. Each week features different food trucks and live music for people to enjoy.

Riverfront Eats plans to return on August 16.
