Researchers say frozen vegetables are just as good

Although there’s nothing like fresh veggies, new research suggests frozen vegetables are just as good.

According to research by Consumer Report and UC Davis, frozen vegetables are just as good as their fresh counterparts in both taste and nutritional content.

While this is good news in terms of money and time management, Americans still need to step up their veggie game.

According to Adam Drewnowski, professor of epidemiology at the University of Washington, Americans aren’t eating even close to enough veggies.

“The consumption of vegetables has been stagnant in this country and has been stagnant for some time,” said Drewnowski.
