Plan your Tuesday

Shorts and t-shirts for Tuesday! It’s going to feel more like late July than late September.  High temperatures will climb into the upper 80s and lower 90s. Our record for Tuesday is 87° set back in 1967. The forecast high is 89°. In addition to the summery temperatures, expect mostly blue skies and sunshine.  There is still the possibility that our Air Quality Index could reach the “moderate” range, as active fires continue around the region.

Spokane and Coeur d’Alene forecast

After a sunny, warm Tuesday, we will start to see some changes on Wednesday. An approaching upper-level trough will pick up our winds and drop our temperatures by about 10 degrees. Showers are possible from Wednesday evening into Thursday. Thursday will be even cooler and more typical of late September.  Highs will only reach the mid-60s. Our rollercoaster weather continues as we get closer to the weekend. Another warming trend will take us into the 70s for a sunny, warm Saturday and Sunday.
