Rain this weekend, but expect a dry and warm Memorial Day
SPOKANE, Wash. — It was a soggy start to the Memorial Day Weekend, but there is a warming and drying trend in the forecast.
The chance of showers continues through Saturday morning, but expect partly cloudy conditions for the afternoon with highs in the mid 60s.
Sunday, the showers pop up in the afternoon, and the winds will pick up as well, which could make for some rough waters on area lakes and rivers.
Highs will be close to 70 Sunday, which is average. Monday will be the driest and warmest day of the weekend with high temperatures in the 70s and plenty of sunshine. Dry and warm conditions will continue through next workweek.
