Rain could impact your Father’s Day weekend plans – Emily

SPOKANE, Wash. — We started the day out with some sunshine but as we make it through the next few hours, you’ll notice increasing cloud cover overhead.

This brings with it a return of the rain as we head into the overnight hours tonight. There’s a slight chance for some isolated thunderstorm activity, as well.

As you’re waking up Saturday, we’ll have rain lingering and much cooler temps. The forecasted high for Saturday is 66- 10 degrees cooler than what we’re expecting for Friday’s afternoon high.

The chance for showers and thunderstorm activity will continue through Monday.

On Tuesday (just in time for the first official day of summer!) we’ll warm-up and the sunshine returns! -Emily Blume, in for Mark Peterson
