Post Falls restaurant throws free Thanksgiving for any and all
SPOKANE, Wash. — Freedom Burrito in Post Falls, was the central location for a community wide effort on Thursday.
Food was donated from all across the area to throw a free Thanksgiving for anyone who stopped by.
Plans for it began as just for veterans, but then expanded to include veterans in need of a place to go, but then opened into something much bigger.
“This is exactly what we are supposed to do as human beings,” said Freedom Burrito events coordinator Racheal Kerfoot, “we are supposed to help our community in times of need.”
The restaurant also prepared to-go boxes for local charities to take to the homeless and others in need as well.
This was the restaurants first year doing something like this and owners say it won’t likely be the last.
