Post Falls man arrested for distributing child pornography

POST FALLS, Idaho — A 29-year-old Post Falls man is facing several charges related to distributing child pornography.

Post Falls Police detectives arrested Traves Jorden Dawson following several Cyber Tips filed with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. These were reported by the social media app Kik.

Detectives served a search warrant on Dawson’s home on September 20 and found his cell phone, which had photos and videos of prepubescent victims.

Dawson now faces three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor by distribution and seven counts of sexual exploitation of a minor by possession. If more illegal files are located, he could face more charges.
