Possible ‘widespread COVID-19 exposure’ linked to Colville golf course events
COLVILLE, Wash. — The Northeast Tri County Health District has been investigating a possible widespread COVID-19 exposure following events at a local golf course.
A release from the public health agency said the exposure came amid social gatherings and other events held at the Dominion Meadows Golf Course between May 1 and the present.
Health officials have been working to contact positive people to provide test results and isolation guidance. Anyone who attended any of these gatherings is encouraged to monitor themselves for COVID-19 symptoms, stay home, practice social distancing and wear a mask.
The health district is also working with the golf course to provide testing and vaccination opportunities for exposed people.
Those looking to get vaccinated may call the NETCHD COVID Call Center at 509-684-2262, opt. 4 or visit www.netchd.org online.
