Police searching for suspect in West Central drive-by shooting

Spokane Police are looking for a suspect in connection with a drive-by shooting Monday night.

Just before 9 p.m., police received reports of gunshots in West Central Spokane. They responded to the 2100 block of W. Boone Ave. Police spoke with witnesses in the area and found four shell casings on the sidewalk and in the snow.

No victims were found at the scene of the shooting.

The suspect is described as a black male who is 25 to 30 years old. He is about six feet tall with short, curly hair. At the time of the incident, he was reportedly wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and light colored jeans.

The suspect fled the scene in a tan or champagne colored SUV.
