Police searching for a man who exposed himself at Logan elementary

At around 12:15 p.m. Monday afternoon, during the lunch recess at Logan elementary, several upper grade students witnessed a man exposing himself along Hamilton Avenue.

The students immediately notified the school, who contacted the Spokane Police Department and Campus Resource Officers.

An increase of SPD and SPS Resource officers is expected to be present during school departure and arrival over the next few days.

The suspect left the scene soon after. He is described by the students as a white male in his 40’s with a graying beard. He was driving a black pickup truck with a tinted rear window.

Police are actively searching for the suspect, and are asking anyone with any information to call Crime Check at 456-2233.

In the meantime, school officials ask that you review with your student proper precautions when walking to and from school.
