Police investigate shooting outside Hells Angels clubhouse
SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Police officers are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday morning in east Spokane.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., Spokane Police received a report of a possible shooting outside the Hells Angels Clubhouse at 1300 E. Sprague. About ten minutes later, officers received a report of a victim who had been shot and was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A witness told KXLY that someone inside a black car fired about five shots.
Spokane Police say there are no suspects in custody, however detectives are following up on leads. They do not believe that there is a danger to public related to this incident. Lieutenant Rex Olsen says they’re moving quickly and thoroughly to figure out who did this.
“We’re investigating it and we’ll get this going as fast as we can because we take this very serious and we do not allow this type of activity in our city, so when we get a chance and we can find out who’s responsible, we will be making an arrest,” Lt. Olsen said.
Sprague is blocked off from S. Ivory St. to S. Helena St. while police investigate.
