Police identify source of violent text; no threat to Chase Middle School students
SPOKANE, Wash. — Parents of Chase Middle School students received a message from school administrators Thursday night about a threat made toward the school.
Brian Coddington, Director of Community Relations and Communications for Spokane Public Schools, said law enforcement is involved and has identified the source of the threat.
“The safety of students and staff is our greatest priority,” said Coddington.
The threat was determined to be a text message that discussed violence. Coddington said school is operating normally on Friday.
