Piano in the park available for public to play
SPOKANE, Wash. — A piano now graces the base of Riverfront Park’s signature clocktower.
It is the first piano in the city to be placed in a park for the public to play at any time.
The piano’s artwork was provided by Kiara Lime, a Spokane Falls Community College student selected from her class for the design.
“The front is very downtown symbolic heavy,” said Lime. “And then the sides around it are very nature based to represent the park.”
Kiara says she knew the piano would be located somewhere downtown, but only recently found out it would sit in Riverfront Park.
