SPOKANE, Wash. — Riverfront Park’s new Ice Age Floods Playground finally opens Friday afternoon. 4 News Now got a sneak peek—take a look at all the new play areas for your kiddos!

The playground is located on the North Bank of Riverfront Park—just cross the pedestrian bridge on Howard Street and you are there.

The North Bank will feature more than just the eponymous playground—there will be a skate park, Hooptown USA courts and half-courts, a climbing wall, picnic shelters and turf.

There will be a virtual ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. on Riverfront Park’s Facebook page Friday, and the playground will officially open to the public at noon.
