Paul Anthony Paz
Paul Anthony Rodriguez Paz, born September 5, 1969 in Huntington Park, California, died February 20, 2020 in Spokane Valley, Washington at 50 years of age. Paul was the most loving, attentive and social spirit from before he could walk. He made an impression on every person he ever met and a lifelong friend if he knew you for more than one hour.
Paul attended Edison High School and San Joaquin Delta College, both in Stockton. He was a lover of words and majored in Communication. He was a graduate of the Pathways to Wellness program at the Spokane YMCA, volunteering as Assistant Coach and also volunteered with their Livestrong program. He felt Pathways turned his life around.
Paul served in the U.S. Army National Guard. He loved working on any moving vehicle. He was trained on how to provide maintenance and repairs on MOS-67U helicopters. He was the Crew Chief for CH47-D Model Chinook helicopters.
Upon completion of his service, he worked in various occupations, including as an Estimator for Dominguez Construction in Stockton, California. He eventually became co-owner of Lowlife Customs in Stockton, a shop specializing in customizing equipment for Harley Davidson motorcycles. He loved riding in his own Electra Glide Harley.
His last position was as Clinical Resource Specialist with CHAS Medical Clinics in Spokane, Washington. He loved this job as he was able to help people in need.
The driving factors in Paul’s life were his family and friends. He always made time for anyone who needed to talk.
