“Paint in the Dark” classes get artists in the Halloween spirit at Pinot’s Palette
SPOKANE, Wash. —
Pinot’s Palette is a local paint and sip spot that can make anyone an artist in just an hour or two. This month, though they are switching things up!
Just in time for Halloween, they are bringing “paint in the dark” classes to their downtown location.
The KXLY 4 Good Morning Northwest crew stopped by Tuesday morning to check out the Jack-O-Lantern class.
Artists use florescent paint to achieve the glow-in-the-dark look. The studio says there is no need to worry about the finished product looking odd in the daylight, as they have some special tricks they use to make it look just as pretty!
Pinot’s Palette instructor Linnea Ware said, “it’s really no different under black light, the only difference is that it is all glowing and it’s a little bit harder to tell which paint is which!”
In addition to Jack-O-Lanterns, guests can paint Van Gogh’s “Starry Night,” a skull and even a tropical scene by blacklight.
Paint in the Dark classes start Tuesday, October 23rd with the Jack-O-Lantern class and run through Halloween. You can purchase a seat in the class here.
