Othello homeowner goes all out with Halloween decor
OTHELLO, Wash. — With Halloween, comes candy, costumes, and wild Halloween decor. Some local homeowners, taking the task very seriously. One Othello homeowner said around 500 people come to visit her house every Halloween.
“My husband gets the chainsaw, chases the kids all over the place,” said Sharon Ensz, Othello homeowner.
Ensz and her husband have been putting on the big show every All Hallows’ Eve for the past four years. She said it started as a Christmas house, then evolved into a Seahawks house. Now, it’s famous for being the Halloween house.
“The kids start asking a week after October – when are you going to start decorating,” Ensz said.
If you’re in Othello looking for a scare and some sweets, neighbors said this is the house to be at.
“We give out a lot of candy – a lot, a lot, of candy,” Ensz said.
