Organizers considering keeping SkyFest in May following this year’s success
AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. — SkyFest organizers are considering permanently holding the annual airshow in May.
More than 130,0000 people showed up to Fairchild Air Force Base this past weekend to browse the plane displays, play in the kids zone and watch the airshows.
The event has previously been held later in the summer, but organizers moved it up this year.
Leadership at the Air Force base said they are under the belief that moving the airshow to May was a good move.
They are now in talks about keeping it that way for future airshows.
