North Pole opens on Lake Coeur d’Alene
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — On Friday, Journey to the North Pole cruises begin on Lake Coeur d’Alene.
The 40 minute adventure takes its passengers all the way to Santa’s workshop.
New this year is America’s largest floating Christmas tree and a dazzling fireworks show.
Kids practically fall overboard as Santa reads off the names of all the good little boys and girls who were nice enough to come visit him. Amazingly, he doesn’t miss a single one.
“They just explode with smiles. We even had one little boy that said, “I made Santa’s good list,” with a question mark,” says organizer Jerry Jaeger.
Along the way, passengers will see over 1-million Christmas lights, and have so much fun, they might forget how cold they are.
