No. 2 Gonzaga has overcome plenty of adversity in this dominating season
SPOKANE, Wash. — At first glance at the Gonzaga Bulldogs 26-1 record, you could easily come to the conclusion that this has been an easy season for the Zags. However, the adversity this team has faced has been hidden, and perhaps overlooked.
Heading into the season the Bulldogs were figuring out their rotation after losing six key players from last year’s roster including two first round draft picks. Then they lost two freshman just before the season tipped off, and another after brief minutes through injuries.
Add in the on and off availability of Senior Killian Tillie and the Zags have been playing shorthanded pretty much all season, even being down to a six man rotation for one game.
Our Alyssa Charlston takes a closer look at the changes this team has had to go through, and the high minutes their regulars have had to put up.
