Nez Perce County Deputies investigating alleged drunk driving accident
LEWISTON, Idaho — Two people were transported to a Lewiston hospital on Friday after their car left the roadway and rolled down a hill.
Nez Perce County deputies and an Idaho State trooper responded to an injury collision in the 4000 block of Hatwai Road in Lewiston.
The driver, 44-year-old Joe Camden, was driving on Spring View Lane when the car swerved off the roadway, rolled down the hill, and landed on Hatwai Road.
Both Camden and the passenger, 57-year-old Harley Sharrard, were transported to the St. Joseph Regional Hospital. Deputies believe alcohol played a factor, but the accident is currently under investigation.
