Spokane Valley firefighters rescue driver and dog from car suspended in trees

MICA, Wash. - On Sunday, Spokane Fire District 8 tweeted about an unusual extrication that took place on Saturday near Mica, just south of Spokane Valley.

A car rolled off Highway 27 and became suspended in some trees.

 

 

Firefighters successfully removed both the driver and the driver's dog from the vehicle

The patient was transported to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition. The dog was cared for by SCRAPS and did not appear to be seriously injured.
