SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Police Department's Special Victim's Unit (SVU) is trying to identify additional witnesses who may have seen an incident that occurred in downtown Spokane on the night of August 31 into the morning of September 1.
Anyone who has information or may have witnessed the events that occurred on or around the tour bus belonging to the band “Decapitated” after their concert at The Pin (located at 412 W. Sprague) is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
During that night/morning, an alleged gang-rape took place. Court documents say four Polish death metal band members were arrested on charges of kidnapping a Washington state woman. They are also suspected of sexually assaulting her during an after-show party on the band's tour bus.
Police have been tracking social media posts surrounding the incident. A number of those posts mention other people who may have been on the bus during the alleged crime, but were not active participants.
Detectives are asking those witnesses who have not already spoken to investigators to call Crime Check.
SVU Detectives are also asking witnesses that may have seen, photographed or recorded any activity around the bus between 10:30 p.m. August 31 and 2:00 a.m. September 1 to also call Crime Check.
They appreciate the assistance already provided by the public surrounding this investigation.
