Spokane Police investigate death in Finch Arboretum neighborhood

SPOKANE, Wash. - UPDATE:

Spokane police arrested a man Saturday on suspicion of second-degree domestic violence murder. 

According to SPD, William W. Bost, 59, was booked into the Spokane County Jail Saturday for second-degree domestic violence murder . 

The investigation is ongoing.

PREVIOUS INFORMATION:

The Spokane Police Department is investigating a death in the Finch Arboretum neighborhood after finding an unidentified person dead inside a home early Saturday morning.

 SPD reports that just after midnight Saturday, a Spokane Valley officer made a traffic stop around Dishman Road and Appleway. That's when someone who was not involved in the traffic stop came up to officers and they "were lead to believe" there may be a body inside of a Spokane home, according to SPD.

 

 

Spokane County deputies and police officers responded to the 1000 block of South Buena Vista Drive in Spokane and found someone dead inside. That person has not been identified yet. 

A neighbor who preferred to remain anonymous said a man lived in the home police are investigating at and that the man kept to himself. 

Spokane Police Major Crimes is on scene investigating the death.
