SPOKANE, Wash. -- It's been almost two weeks since Joseph Kamau was last seen at his apartment in Spokane. With investigators releasing few details, Joseph's family wants answers.
Joseph was last seen on March 3. His family was concerned and checked his home near Gonzaga where they noticed his bedroom window had been broken. In addition, his keys and cellphone had been left behind.
The Kamau family filed a police report, but SPD would not release any details of the investigation to 4 News Now.
According to his mother, Annie Kamau, Joseph's credit card statements showed unusual purchases made in the Spokane and Coeur d'Alene areas.
"I just want to have my son back and the people who can be able to do it. Me, I cannot by myself. But there are people who are entrusted to help me find my son back home, and I know they can do it," Annie Kamau said.
SPD says Kamau is 20-years-old, 5'10", and around 170-210 lbs. Police say he was ;last seen wearing gray sweatpants, black slide sandals, and he was not wearing a shirt.
Anyone with information on Kamau's disappearance is asked to contact Detective Andrew Bjur (509) 625-4100 at the Spokane Police Department or Coeur d'Alene Police Department.
