SPD advising public to stay home due to poor driving conditions

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police are advising people to stay home due to mixed snow and sleet with low visibility.

Overnight temperatures are supposed to reach 31 degrees with rain, which will make roads slick and make driving conditions dangerous. The Spokane Police Department is encouraging people to stay home if you can. If you must drive, you are asked to use your lights, slow down, and leave more stopping distance between the vehicle in front of you.
