KELLOGG, Idaho - Silver Mountain Ski Resort has announced it will open Sunday, November 19, for a "sneak preview".
"We are excited to get an early start to our winter season, and even more excited about the long-term snow predictions for our area," said Marketing Coordinator Willy Bartlett.
Silver Mountain expects to run chairs 1,2, and the carpet lift for skiing and snowboarding. Tubing sessions and gondola rides will be offered.
"This is a sneak preview, so there will be discounted lift tickets, but we hope to have all our terrain and lifts open soon," said Bartlett.
An adult lift ticket will cost $39 and a youth ticket will cost $29.
Silver Mountain's next day of operations will be Friday, November 24, when normal operations are scheduled to start.
