Rollerskating opens at Riverfront Park

Spokane - You can now roller skate and scooter for free on the Skate Ribbon at Riverfront Parik.

Admission to the ribbon is free during roller skating season. Roller skates and scooters are available to rent -- visitors wishing to bring their own roller skates, in-line skates, toddler scoot bikes, non-motorized scooters, or skateboards are welcome. Please no peddle bikes or motorized equipment. 

Helmets are required by law (Spokane Municipal Code Chapter 10.7), and wrist guards, knee and elbow pads are highly recommended. Please bring your own or borrow some of our safety gear at no charge during rental hours. Children 15 years and under must be monitored by an adult. 

Special Spring Break activities include Magical Mondays with shows at 1pm and 3pm; $1 hot dogs Monday while supplies last, life-sized sidewalk games, and inflatables. Free roller skating lessons begin April 8. 

Admission: free

Hours: Available to use during all park hours, 5am - midnight

Gear: Bring your own roller skates, in-line skates, toddler scoot bikes, non-motorized scooters, or skateboards - or rent roller skates or scooters from Riverfront

Rental hours: 11am – 7pm every day

Roller skate rental: $6.50/hr (includes tax)

Scooter rental: $8.50/hr (includes tax)
