PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State Cougars football program has lost quite a few key players after the end of the regular season.

In the last week, the Cougs have lost their top four receivers in De’Zhaun Stribling, Donovan Ollie, Robert Ferrell and Renard Bell. Ferrell and Bell are out of eligibility, and Stribling and Ollie have entered the transfer portal.

Veteran linebacker Travion Brown is also now in the portal, along with backup safety Adrian Shepherd.

Back on the offensive end, freshman running back Jouvensly Bazil is leaving, along with third-string quarterback Xavier Ward.

Lastly, offensive lineman Eric Wilder and edge rusher Gabriel Lopez recently announced their departures from the WSU football program.

Many star athletes from other colleges around the country are also entering the transfer portal, which means the Cougs have a chance to snag some key pieces for next year.

With more future announcements expected, the Cougars will need to prioritize rebuilding their receiver core before next season starts.
