SPOKANE, Wash. - Urban Outfitters is open after more than a year of construction.
"I think it's pretty cool honestly, I like the style. It's nice," said Chuck Morgan as he strolled through the new store.
Urban Outfitters has a little bit of everything.
"We're a lifestyle brand so we carry products for men, women and a lot of home products as well," said Jill Repasky, the district manager for Urban Outfitters.
The long awaited store is a sweet addition to the corner of Wall and Main street.
"There's nothing really this great and cool. Like this place is really cute and there's a lot of hip clothes, like really fashionable," said customer Presley Yates.
But construction on this corner is not over yet. Just across the newly opened Wall street, renovations of the former Macy's building are well underway.
The building is expected to be part retail and part residential with a metal and glass exterior.
"I think it's going to be good for Spokane," said shopper Megan O'Connor. "We're stepping up our game and it's nice."
The growth of this corner adding to the draw of people to the downtown core.
The exciting business boom is something Urban Outfitters is glad to be part of in Spokane.
"It's affordable, it's a great place to be and I know they are doing so much in downtown to really attract people and attract more traffic. We're excited to be in this area early," said Repasky.
Urban Outfitters will be having an official grand opening this Saturday starting at 2 p.m. And on Friday, there will be a grand re-opening of Wall street starting at 11:30 a.m.
