SPOKANE, Wash. - The Sherman Avenue (Exit 15) I-90 off-ramp will close for a week beginning Sunday for reconstruction.
The closure will begin at 10 p.m. and last until 2 p.m. on Friday, July 21. The closure is part of the reconstruction of I-90 from Northwest Blvd. to Sherman. The U.S. 95 (Exit 12), 4th Street (Exit 13), and 15th Street (Exit 14) ramps will be available as alternate routes.
The reconstruction is scheduled through October 2018, as part of the $19.8 million Idaho Transportation Department Project. The project will resurface I-90, increase height clearances, and improve traveler safety.
Increased travel times, speed reductions, and lane shifts should be expected.
Between 9th and Sherman, I-90 will be reduced to one lane in each direction within westbound portions of the freeway.
