SPOKANE, Wash. - Post Falls Police are searching for a man who hasn't been seen since Saturday night and vanished under bizarre circumstances.
William "Bo" Kirk, 41, was last seen leaving work around 7 o'clock Saturday night from Northwest Specialty Hospital in Post Falls. He was supposed to be home about 20 minutes later, but never showed up. Firefighters later found his truck engulfed in flames around 9:45 in the 23000 block of N. Rimrock Road.
Kirk's family is now making a desperate plea for his safe return.
"We just want him to come home. If anybody sees him, we just need him to come home," said Claudia Jackson, Kirk's sister.
She says her brother has never done anything like this.
"It's just, this is completely our of character for him," Jackson said. "He would not do this to his family. He wouldn't do this to us."
Jackson says she doesn't know anyone who would want to harm her brother, but is worried foul play is involved. For their family it's been a tough 24 hours since they heard the news.
"It's the not knowing," Jackson said. "Not knowing... it's literally not knowing anything. He left work at 7 o'clock. That's all we know."
Sunday night, the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office was investigating the scene at 23000 Rimrock Road. The vehicle has been removed, and all that remains is the charred ground.
The Post Falls Police Department is investigating Kirk's disappearance. He is described as a white male, around 5-foot-8 and 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing dark-colored medical scrubs. If you have seen him or have any information as to his whereabouts, call Post Falls police at (208) 773-3517.
