SPOKANE, Wash – As all eyes are on the U.S. Supreme Court right now. Two women who wrote about an iconic Supreme Court judge will be in Spokane next week at an event to raise money for women in our community.

Irin Carmon and Shana Knizhnik wrote “Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg“. They’re the featured speakers at the Women Helping Women Fund’s “Iconic Night at the Fox” Tuesday, May 17th.

The event is the organization’s 30th anniversary celebration.

What has typically been a mid-day luncheon is now a late afternoon affair from 4-6 with a cocktail hour and a live performance from the Spokane Symphony.

Tickets are available for $135 at this link. 4 News Now’s Kris Crocker will host the event.

All of the proceeds go to support community-based solutions for women and children in Spokane.

Since the Women Helping Women Fund’s inaugural luncheon in 1993, supporters have raised more than $6 million to fund programs that serve women and children in need.
