Man killed while working on Moscow city project

MOSCOW, Idaho - A Motley and Motley employee was killed while performing regularly scheduled work for Moscow's Booster Station Replacement contract Thursday morning.

The employee was working at the City's Vista Water Tank site near Hathaway Street.

He was transported to Gritman Medical Center by the Moscow Fire Department where it was determined he had not survived his injuries.

The employee's name has not been released at this time pending notification of family.

The City of Moscow's Booster Station Replacement project was designed to address water pressure limitations, improve booster pump efficiency and fire flow in the pressure zones, upgrade electrical systems, provide emergency power to each pump station, and to improve maintenance access by bringing the stations above grade.
