Naked man stabbing suspect in Spokane Valley

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Police are searching for a man on the run after he reportedly stabbed a woman Sunday night in Spokane Valley.

At around 6 pm on Sunday night, police responded to a report of a female who had been stabbed in the neck in the 10100 block of E. 15th near Dartmourth Road.

The suspect, who was later identified as 35-year-old Raymond J. Pfluger, is being described as a white, 5' 6" man with brown, balding hair.

Arriving deputies were told the victim was in a motorhome on the property with Pfluger, who she has known for several years. They began arguing about Pfluger stealing items from her in the past when he suddenly grabbed her by the throat. The victim screamed and thought Plfuger hit her until she realized he had stabbed her with a pocket knife. She managed to escape and flee the residence, calling for help.

Deputies searched the area with the assistance of a K9, but were unable to find the suspect. They did find several articles of his clothing that he left behind as he escaped on foot.

Police also believed Pfluger to be naked and high on acid at the time of the incident. He faces charges of Assault 1st Degree and Robbery 1st Degree.
