Meters in downtown Spokane given time limit

SPOKANE, Wash. - Due to a high demand for parking, meters in downtown Spokane will now have a time limit.

Most of the downtown meters have a maximum time of two hours.

The city suggests if you are looking to stay for more than two hours, to find longer-term parking options on the  Downtown Spokane Partnership website.

Beginning on Saturday, July 1, enforcement of overtime parking at meters will be enforced and could result in a $30.00 ticket.

Your vehicle must be moved to another block face before you reach the maximum time stay.
