Extreme Team helps their own

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Extreme Team worked to help a man who gave countless hours to the team over the last five years, after his life was changed forever.

Joe Harding suffered a motorcycle injury that left him paralyzed from the neck down on October 5.

"He was riding his down the street just down here and went head over heels on his motorcycle, broke his neck," described Extreme Team Member Matt Schupp.

The unimaginable injury was a devastating blow to a man who gave countless hours to the Extreme Team over the last five years. Last week, Dave Ken and Molly delivered gifts to Joe's family through their Christmas Wish program. This week , Joe is getting help from a familiar source.

"I went and visited Joe in the hospital, and he mentioned he needed a ramp to get into his house.  So, here we are, building him a ramp," said Schupp.

Joe's Extreme Team family aren't stopping at just the ramp. They're doing everything they can to transform the Harding home, making his eventual trip home as comfortable as possible. It's a labor of love that Joe himself knows all about.
